Terrie is raising support to bring one marginalized woman or young woman business owner with her to the African Womens Conference in Accra, Ghana, November 4-6. Terrie will be hosting a master business class at this premier event, which brings together experts, institutions, corporate organizations, and individuals committed to advancing the growth, stability, and development of women across Africa and the world. This fundraiser is for a woman who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend, but who could be deeply encouraged, empowered, and inspired by the experience.

What prompted this effort is deeply personal. After attending a similar experience last year, Terrie was moved by helping raise funds for period security for girls who do not have access to menstrual products. That experience stirred a desire to help bridge gaps in opportunity and to share with another less fortunate woman the kind of exposure, learning, and perspective that can open new doors. Terrie knows that while many enjoy greater access and freedom in the U.S., there are still marginalized women and aspiring business owners who need support, encouragement, and meaningful opportunities to grow.
