Arivaca (in Partnership with Tony Bruno of PPEP) has been given the task to choose one of our amazing teens to represent our town and be a voice for youth in this years National Leadership Forum for CADCA. This is truly an amazing opportunity to be an advocate for anti-drug and substance abuse teachings in small rural communities such as ours.
We need your help in raising funds to ensure our town has a voice and that we are represented. Our goal is to raise $1421.56 by the end of December. With the help of this community, we can send a young person to a once in a lifetime opportunity that will impact not only them, but future generations to come. Please help in any way you can, and reach out to Justin at the Community Center by text or phone at [phone redacted].
Any funds raised above and beyond the cost to send this years candidate will be placed into a fund for future trips and allow more kids to be able to attend other events.

CADCA’s National Leadership Forum is a four-day conference packed with multiple adult and youth-oriented opportunities to learn the latest strategies to fight substance misuse and hear from nationally-known experts and policymakers with a full day dedicated to Capitol Hill events. The Forum is held in the Washington, DC area every year, normally the first week of February and brings together more than 2,700 participants representing community anti-drug coalitions, government leaders, youth, addiction treatment professionals, researchers, educators, law enforcement professionals, youth and faith-based leaders.
