Hello, my name is Guilherme and I'm a senior at Newtown High School and part of the track team. Our boys' sprint medley relay recently placed first at the Class L State Championships with a new school record and Class L record. They also qualified for New Balance Nationals in Boston, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, due to CIAC rules, the school cannot help fund the team to travel and compete. We are also not allowed to use our team issued uniforms, so we would need to make new ones.

The boys also decided that they would love to honor Sandy Hook at Nationals with a Sandy Hook themed kit.

These funds would be for new uniforms and registration fees for the competition as well as hotel stays and any remaining funds will be given back to the team for any supplies they might need throughout the rest of the season.
