Hello! My name is Adam Goers, and I'm the NC State Club Tennis Team President. We are asking for your help in covering some of our costs in attending the 2022 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Tennis on Campus National Championships.

With our recent 2nd place finish at the USTA Tennis on Campus Southern Sectionals event (consisting of 50+ teams from 9 states in the US Southern Region), our club has fortunately earned a bid to the first in-person Club Tennis National Championship since 2019!

The event will take place at USTA's National Campus in Orlando from April 6th-10th, and as you may imagine, travel and lodging expenses add up quickly. Our club is hoping for a little bit of support which would help us immensely.

Estimated Travel Expenses:

Flights (10 players): $3,500
Housing (4 nights, 3 hotel rooms): $2,500
Tournament Entry Fee: $400
2 Rental Cars/Gas: $800
Total: $7,200+

As shown above, this trip will be very costly for our club, with travel and housing related expenses alone exceeding $7,000. This estimate doesn't include any other costs we will incur, such as dining, which individual players will have to cover. We have thankfully received $1,250 in funding from the USTA to combat these expenses, bringing our out-of-pocket cost down to $5,950. With your help, we hope to keep our club's cost under $4,000 to leave adequate funds remaining for club-related expenditures such as practice balls, future tournaments, and other expenses.

We are extremely thankful and appreciative of any donations. As I've experienced first-hand this season, our team is driven, ready to compete, and prepared to prove themselves as one of the best in the nation. Any help in supporting this one-of-a-kind year would be greatly appreciated.
