Help Send Ms. Kerr To The Principal's Office!
Hi my name is Nicole Kerr and I am entering my tenth year at Perkins Bass Elementary. This year I will continue to serve as a Reading Specialist as well as a 3rd grade ELA instructor. As I begin to wrap my mind around welcoming scholars back into the classroom after an almost 2 year pandemic hiatus; I am ready to do more!
On August 11th, I will be submitting my application to American College of Education (ACE) in hopes of becoming an assistant principal. It is my dream that this educational leadership program will prepare me to effectively lead, run, and manage a PreK-12 school. This is the very first step in becoming a principal.
With over 12 years of classroom experience, I am confident that this is the right path for me. Over the last 4 years I have had the opportunity to coach and mentor teachers as both a literacy coach and primary lead teacher. I am well versed in creating and designing instructional methods, identifying students in need of support, and devising a plan of action that meets the needs of all students while closing the achievement gap.
The total cost for the program is $9,500 which consist of twelve courses (34 semester credits). Each credit is $235.00 with an additional library and technology fee of $1,360.00. There is also a conferral fee of $150.00 which totals up to $9,500. Unfortunately financial aid and student loans are not an option; as I’m currently indebted to a variety of lending institutions after earning one bachelor's degree and two master's degrees.
If you can find it in your heart to contribute or even share with your family and friends who’d love to help a teacher, mother, and overall awesome human please do so! Thank you for your consideration and kindness.
