It is with a very heavy heart that I share that my father, Michael Anthony Johnson SR went to celebrate his birthday with the Lord. At the very young age of 59, Michael Johnson answered heaven’s calls and is now singing and dancing alongside heavens angels.

To know him is to love him. Anyone who has ever been in the same room as this amazing man, will understand how much joy and love he has brought to this world. He was a loving father, grandfather of now 3, uncle, brother, son, mentor and so much more. He was selfless and compassionate. He never left any heart untouched.

Although gone, this amazing man will never be forgotten. The ember of his actions will continue to spread throughout this world. He was a light in all our eyes. His memory will continue to beat in each of our hearts. His legacy deserves to be celebrated, which is why we ask, we the family of Michael Anthony Johnson Sr is asking for donations to help send him off to his final resting place.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been discussed and will be communicated once completed. We hope to see you all at the celebration of his life.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
