Help send Mia Friesen to the World championships

My name is Mia Friesen. I am a 21 yr old varsity as well as Canadian National Team Athlete. Recently I am became a OUA Champion, USport Champion, U23 Canadian Champion, as well as being named USport wrestler of the year and Brock University Athlete of the year.

I am currently transitioning from a junior National team athlete in 2022 to a senior in 2023. I have spent the year trying to get as much international exposure and experience as a senior through camps and tournaments.

In recents months I have attended camps in Mexico, Hungary and Spain. As well as a tournament in Spain where I was able to win a silver medal. Although this has helped me improve drastically, it has been self funded. I am currently a full time student at Brock University as well as working part time at the Ole Angel Inn as a Hostess to help offset expenses.

I will be heading to the U23 World Championships in Oct in Tirana Albania, where I am planning on a podium finish for Canada. The approx cost of my summer training camps as well as world championships is approx $8000. Any support in my quest for the podium would be much appreciated.
