Anybody that knows me well, is well aware that I'm a massive fan of the band Alice in Chains and have been for years. A few days ago I saw an ad on FaceBook for Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp in Hollywood this year....offering a chance to jam on stage at the legendary Whisky A Go Go with Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez from Alice In Chains. Not to mention the night before playing with the DeLeo brothers from Stone Temple Pilots.....for a measly $5,000!

Obviously I would jump at this chance if it was anything I could ever come close to affording...... So a couple days later I get a message from my Uncle Adam saying "You wanna go?" "Of course I wanna go, but it's $5,000 dude" so the next day I wake up to two airline tickets to LA and a confirmation number on our (very expensive) deposit to the camp in my e-mail.

As you can imagine, I'm freaking out! I still haven't fully processed that this is really happening. This is absolutely something I could normally only dream about. I just can't believe someone was kind enough to do this for me. I don't know where to begin to repay such a generous favor. All I know to do is to try to raise as much money as I can to help out with this tremendously expensive trip.

I recognize that there are far more important and urgent manners in the world than this. I hate to even ask for help, but at the same time I feel terrible that he is spending so much money on this.

I don't want anybody to feel obligated to chip in and I certainly won't think any less of you if can't afford to or just don't want to. I completely understand.  I've been very blessed to have a lot support over the years from so many people, and I will never take that for granted.

This is a true "once in a lifetime" experience for me that I'm honestly still having trouble wrapping me head around. These guys are heroes to me and never in a million years could I have imagined that I would be able to do this. I've tried to come up with some reasonable perks to offer, so people that donate will get something cool in return. I will do my best to fulfill my end of the deal as quickly as possible.  I greatly appreciate any contribution regardless of amount!

$35 - I will come to your house and give you a 90 minute guitar lesson,  regardless of skill level. (if you live further than 20 miles from Peterstown, WV we can do it over Skype/Facebook)

$50 - I will learn and record an acoustic version of a cover song of your choosing (within reason, I can't pull off any Backstreet Boys) and send it to you via e-mail.

$200 - I will come to your house and perform a 2-hour solo acoustic show for you and anyone you would like to invite. (within 50 miles of Peterstown, WV and not on Friday or Saturday) on a date to be determined.

$250 - (1 available) you will receive my super nifty six string guitar/banjo I played on my "Last Train Home" record (message me on FB for pictures/details)
