Help send Maurice (deceased) home to the Congo to be buried

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Louise, and I'm fundraising for the family of my neighbour Maurice, who died recently after a long struggle with Motor Neuron Disease.

Maurice Kiesse was born on October 4, 1961. He arrived in Ireland in 2001 as an Asylum-seeker and then was awarded refugee status after wars in the Congo. He spent his life then working for Spirasi (Ireland's National Centre for Survivors of Torture), an NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) that takes care of social cases. He helped many people, including refugees from all nations. He lived in Ireland for 24 years of his life. Suffering from an incurable disease, motor neurone disease, he passed away on January 28, 2025, in Dublin. His body is still in the morgue. In his final wish, he requested to be buried next to his father and mother in his hometown in the Congo.

The family needs €9500 to send him home, Grace has managed to raise €3050 outside of this platform. Therefore, the aim is to raise the remainder, €6450, via this platform. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Repartiration is being organised by Massey Bros Funeral Home.
