Help Send Mack Home
Hello to all my friends and Family,
As you may know, my father suffered from Alzheimer's, an awful disease he battled for years. After managing the disease fairly well, we found out last week that he contracted pneumonia and within days he was gone. Now we are tasked with sending him off and we are reaching out to you for your help.
My dad, or Mack as he was affectionately known, was very strong, compassionate and kind. He was an amazing father and provider who also served his country in the Navy until an honorable discharge. He battled his Alzheimer's since at least 2014 that I know of but continued to manage his own life and independence. It wasn't until 2016 that the doctors and I realized that it was best that he'd no longer live alone. My daughter Tanesha and I have had the pleasure of living with him as his primary caregivers ever since.
It's been my absolute pleasure to aid someone who dedicated his life to serving others. It would mean the world to me if you'd help me serve him one last time with a proper burial and homegoing celebration. A "peacetime veteran" he was entitled to no more than $1000 and with a life insurance policy that has not yet matured, we find ourselves with considerably less than we planned for.
I'm reaching out to you- my friends, my family, my community - for a show of love and support for my father. Thank you in advance.
Daddy's Girl,
Monica Fraizer
