Our sister Lucy has been songwriting for years, and as you can see from the video she is writing songs that are artful, emotional, and complex. This year, she applied to and got in to an incredibly prestigious songwriting camp that would fast track her to a career as a singer songwriter. However, this camp is incredibly expensive and we did not qualify for financial aid even though our mom is a NYC public school teacher. It's a 10% acceptance rate, so there's no guaranteeing she will get in again in future summers.

The camp gave us 24 hours to make a decision, and with the help of angelic friends who have already made pledges, we’re confident we can fundraise enough to make her be able to go.
