I wrote a book and entered it into the Educators Rising K-3 Children's Literature competition. My entry came in second place at the state-level competition. I am invited to attend the National Competition in Orlando, Florida, in June. I'm looking for sponsors to help cover the expenses of the trip. Along with competing, I have the amazing opportunity to listen to keynote speakers and build friendships with fellow future educators from all over the country. In competing, there is the possibility of a scholarship in the education field. This competition represents a huge step forward in furthering my aspiration to be an educator.
