Help Send Louis to Poland!

Hi there! My name is Louis Douville Beaudoin and I was recently selected for the USA National Team at the World Junior Ultimate Championships (WJUC) in Wroclaw, Poland this August! I’m thrilled to be able to meet and compete with some of the best Ultimate players from around the world. Leading up to the tournament I’ll be traveling to and from training camp in Denver, Colorado, and later flying to Chicago for an extended training camp before the team flies to Poland.

This opportunity is incredibly exciting, and also very expensive! All donations will cover the costs of domestic and international flights, the two training camps, and room and board. Any size donation is greatly appreciated and will help make this dream come true!

My Journey with Ultimate:

I have been part of the Amherst Ultimate community for 7 years starting in the 5th grade at the Summer Ultimate League of Amherst (SULA). I later played for the ARMS (Amherst Regional Middle School) team and on the JVB boys team my freshman year at ARHS. I played on the Boston BUDA U17 team that summer and attended NUTC, exposing me to what Ultimate was like outside of my community in Amherst. This past spring I was part of the ARHS boys varsity team helping to win both States and the Amherst Invitational.

To give back to Amherst Ultimate, I started as a volunteer coach at the youth summer league I had been a part of in elementary school and coached fall clinics for the middle school team. In the winter I collaborated with friends to organize a mixed indoor league that allowed ARHS players from all teams to play together in the offseason. This summer I continue to volunteer coach and work as a counselor at the LSSE NUTC day camp!

I am incredibly grateful to have grown up within the Amherst Ultimate community, I have gained so much as a player and as a person being a part of it these past 7 years. The privilege to represent the USA and play frisbee at the international level is also an opportunity for me to represent the local ultimate community that I love.
