Hi, I'm Lord Frederick - the blind, black, gay, sexy artist of San Francisco - I am running the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 5th!

I was born legally blind in the Bronx and lived in New York until 2010. Running has been part of my life for a long time - I ran my first NYC Marathon in 1993. After I went completely blind at age 30 I continued running with Achilles track club - this year will be my 12th marathon!

In order to get to NYC and over the finish line, I need YOUR help! Please consider supporting my fundraiser to help cover the costs of my travel and hotel stay. Without your support, I would not be able to accomplish my goal. Every contribution, no matter how much, is meaningful!

Solo Travel as a totally blind person can be challenging, and sometimes scary. But it is important for me to overcome challenges to show what I am able to accomplish despite my disability and age (57 this month!) - I want to be an inspiration to other blind people!

To me, the American Dream is to be a success and a champion when you try. All who assist others on their dreams are champions as well.
