Help send Kevin home the right way

I am writing this on behalf of my family. My name is Kevin Cleveland, named after my great uncle Kevin Cleveland. Most know me as Little Kev or Bookie. My uncle was recently diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (Glioblastoma) a little over 3 months ago.

One day, my uncle wasn’t feeling well and decided to get checked out. Test results came back, and the doctor told him that he had a brain tumor. We celebrated presumably what might be my uncle's last birthday, 3 days before he went in for brain surgery. We ate, we laughed, we enjoyed every moment, not certain of what the future held but leaving everything in God's hands. My uncle’s surgery was a success. He spent 8 hours under the scope getting this tumor removed from his brain. My uncle spent the next few weeks just trying to regain consciousness again, and that’s what he did.

Over the course of months, it was 1 step forward, 2 steps back due to finding new issues that came along. One of the biggest ones being my uncle's kidneys were failing. Doctors continued to work hard to try and help my uncle as much as they could. Fast forward to today, my grandma was told by the doctors there was nothing left they could do and all options had been exhausted. My uncle Kevin, being the fighter that he is, told his mom, my grandma, “Momma, I just want to come home.” Doctors have given us a 2-3 weeks max range with my uncle. Since his kidneys are failing, once he comes off of dialysis, his kidneys will stop working and his organs will shut down. My uncle's last wish is to spend it with his family and enjoy the rest of whatever time God has left for him.

He has a wife Jessica and 5 kids: Devin, Lamar, Trevin, Aneysa, and Jocelyn who he loves very much. Also, he just recently became a grandpa; his son Devin had a baby boy, Dakota, who he said he wants us to call Baby Tucker, named after his late dad. My uncle has fought a great fight, and just like his dad was a warrior and a fighter, he is too. Our family is asking all friends and family to come together and help us be able to send our uncle, our brother, our son, our fighter off the right way.
