Help Send Judith to the Maccabi Games next July
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Szaja Gottlieb. I am raising money to send my daughter Judith Dabin Gottlieb to the Maccabi Games in Israel next July to represent the United States. Judith was a top ten archer in the USA as a Cadet (14-17 years old) two years ago. As a freshman at Barnard, she was recruited and is presently on the Columbia University Archery Team. The Maccabi Games, sometimes referred to as the Jewish Olympics, is the 3d largest athletic event in the world. In 2017, over 10,000 athletes representing 85 countries competed in 45 sports. The Games are held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee and, similar to the Olympics, are held every 4 years. For more information about the Maccabi Games, please visit www.maccabiusa.com. Besides her esteemed coach at Columbia, Coach Derek Davis, Judith has been trained by Coach Kim Hyung Tak, one of the most famous coaches in S. Korea, a country renowned for producing world class archers. For more information about her coach, please go to http://www.archeryschool.com. Of course, Judith's goal is to win a medal for the United States but it is also to experience the history, culture, and the people of the state of Israel. The Maccabiah will give her an opportunity to do both. Thank you for your help.
