Help Jenava Experience Her Senior Mission Trip to Costa Rica!

We are so excited to share with you an amazing opportunity coming up for Jenava Esther Pereira, who will be entering her Senior year at Aletheia Christian Academy for the 2025–2026 school year!

Jenava has been elected SGA President and is thrilled to serve alongside her classmates, teachers, and leadership team to help make this a remarkable and memorable year for everyone.

As part of the Senior experience, Aletheia Christian Academy organizes a Senior trip — and this year’s trip is truly special! In May 2026, Jenava and her classmates will travel to Costa Rica for an unforgettable 6-day adventure, including:

A day of mission work with an incredible ministry outside of San José

Hiking a volcano and swimming in natural hot springs

Visiting breathtaking waterfalls

Immersing in Costa Rican culture

⛵ Ending the trip with a catamaran cruise!

This experience is being organized through Joshua Expeditions (travelje.org), a trusted Christian travel organization, and the group will be guided the entire time by an experienced tour leader.

The total cost for the trip is $2,327.50 per person.

I (Cherish) will also be going along to chaperone the trip and support the students during their ministry time (and hopefully help with translation if I can brush up on my español! ).

That means we need to raise close to $4,700 for the both of us to be able to go.

Our first payment of $357.50 each is due by April 30th, so time is of the essence to get started!
