Hi, my name is Tanya, I am Jasmine Heron's mum. Jasmine is 13yrs old and this is her first year being a Junior International Gymnast. She recently represented QLD at the National Championships and also at the National Carnival. She trains
30+ hrs per week before and after school and has the ambition, focus and the determination to go to the Olympics in the future. Jasmine has been selected to attend her first ever International Competition held in Germany in March 2024, which will give her the opportunity to proudly represent Australia for her first time on the international stage. It is such an honour to have been selected into the junior category, and to represent Australia with only 3 other girls having been selected to join the team. However, junior girls trips are always self funded and with a total cost of $12,600 it raises the question... ‘Can we even afford to send her? This is why i now feel the need to ask my friends, my family, friends of friends, and generous fellow Australians. I am asking for everyone's help, even if it’s a small amount. Every dollar counts in our world! As the saying goes.. “It takes a village to raise a child.” Please can you help me, a loving mother; provide my child with this opportunity to follow her dream!
