Hi,

My name is Iyana Deshields. I am a soon to be first-generation college student and I could not be more excited to announce that I have chosen to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the Fall of 2021.

Throughout high school at McCaskey In
Lancaster PA, I have maintained honor roll, served on Senior Council, been a member of the Equity Steering Committee, served as a Student Representative for the School Board, am a founding member for the NAACP youth group and most recently was accepted into the National Honor Society.
While I have worked all four years of high school to save money for my education, it unfortunately is not enough to cover the full expenses associated so I am reaching out to the community for any support that you can give.

No amount is too small, and if you aren’t able to give monetarily please share this with your networks.
