I'm incredibly excited to have the opportunity to attend the High School Democrats of America National Summit at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., from July 14th to July 17th.

This summit is an invaluable experience, allowing me to connect with fellow young Democrats from across the country, immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of Georgetown and D.C., and learn crucial skills to become a more effective leader in my community.

As I live in Hawai'i, one of the significant challenges I currently face is covering the cost of travel. The average round trip plane ticket between Hawai'i and D.C. typically ranges from $1,000 to $1,300 USD.

Attending this summit would truly mean the world to me, as it would provide a unique opportunity for growth and engagement as a young leader.

If I receive any additional funds beyond what is needed for travel, I assure you that these resources will be used responsibly. A portion will go towards covering other necessary travel expenses, and any remaining amount will be directly donated back to High School Democrats of America.

Your contribution will help support HSDA’s mission of promoting youth advocacy and civic engagement nationwide, ensuring that other young people have similar opportunities in the future.
