Help Send India to an ADHD Coach!

My name is Victoria and I'm raising funds to help my daughter, India. This will be India's senior year of high school, and if you know us, you know it's been quite a journey to get here. India was pulled out of public school around 2nd grade because she struggled so much with basic classroom instruction. We always assumed she had some form of ADHD but didn't have her diagnosed until years later. We thought we could handle it and did our best, but in reality, we haven't done a very good job setting her up for future success.

In recent years, India has shown concern for her mental well-being and consistently mentioned wanting to be tested for more things like Autism, Dyslexia, and other disabilities. She felt there was more to her story and wanted a "reason" as to why she struggles so hard every day to do the things that most of us can do without even thinking about it. So earlier this year, we took her to a psychologist and had her tested. The psychologist tested her with WISC-V and ADOS-2, as well as some behavioral observations using BASC-3 and Vineland-3. We just heard back from the psychologist.

Her results were F84.0 Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1, Requiring Support, and F90.2 Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Combined Presentation. Without going into too much more detail and making this super long, I'll get to the point. With these results, the following recommendations were made:
• That India attend regular therapy to address her emotional dysregulation and ongoing struggles.
• It is also recommended that India and her family consult with a physician to consider a trial of medication to manage her mood and difficulty focusing.
• Given her academic struggles, it is recommended that India and her family consult with an educational coach to create a more effective learning plan for India.
• Provide her with as many opportunities as possible with like-minded peers, as socialization is a crucial aspect of her development at this time in her life.

We have found an ADHD coach in Dallas that can work with her on therapy and managing her ADHD, which is her real struggle, but insurance covers 0% of this treatment. We would love to start this process as soon as we can get some help funding it. Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated and will help us get India on the right track.

India is such an amazing and bright light. Her creativity and love are unmatched. She just needs some guidance that I cannot provide. I have so much hope and believe with all of my being that this coach can help her better understand her own mind and knock down the walls that have been limiting her and keeping her from reaching her full potential.
