Help Send Greely Historians to National History Day in DC

Help Send Greely Middle School Students to National History Day in Washington, D.C.!

We are thrilled to announce that several students from Greely Middle School have advanced past the state level and earned the incredible opportunity to compete at National History Day in Washington, D.C. this June!

This year’s theme, “Rights and Responsibilities in History,” challenged students to explore powerful moments where individuals and groups stood up for justice, changed laws, and took bold responsibility for shaping the world around them. After months of dedicated research, writing, and creativity, our students produced original performances, documentaries, and websites that wowed judges at the regional and state levels.

Now, they have the chance to share their work on the national stage, an unforgettable academic and civic learning experience that brings history to life.

We are asking for your support to help cover travel and lodging costs for students and their families. While this is an exciting honor, the cost of traveling to Washington, D.C. can be a challenge, and we want to make sure that all students who earned their place can attend, regardless of financial circumstances.

Every donation helps these bright, hardworking students take the next step in their journey and represents an investment in youth who understand the importance of rights, responsibilities, and using their voices to make a difference.

Thank you for supporting our students as they make history... by studying it, living it, and inspiring others along the way.
