Help send Gilbert to a missions training school
Donation protected
Hey, this is Ernest Lloyd. I am attempting to raise funds for my friend, Gilbert Nolt, who is anticipating going to a missions training school this coming fall. Gilbert's family bought one-way tickets to Greece last November to volunteer with i58 , (which partners with Greek NGOs in Lesvos and Samos to give aid in refugee camps.) This leaves him in a position in Greece with no way to have an income because of both the time restraints of volunteering with i58 and also because of the legal constraints which prohibit him from doing compensated work on his current visa.
Before moving to Greece Gilbert invested a lot of time and effort into getting his Private Pilot's License, which he plans to use for mission work of some sort in the future.
As a next step, he is hoping to go on SENT 1* missions training this fall, finances being the only thing holding him back. Approximately $3,000 will go towards tuition, $1,600 towards the tickets and preparatory/travel expenses, and anything above this will go towards the mission work that he and his family are doing in Greece.
Please donate if you want to help send Gilbert on SENT 1!
*SENT 1 is an annual 3-month missions training program based in Ghana, West Africa. It offers intensive training in a practical, foreign missions setting, where students learn biblical outreach and church planting principles from experienced missionaries. SENT 1 (Serving Every Nation Training) is led by dedicated leaders who are committed to each student’s spiritual growth.
