Gage has earned a spot on Team Canada’s U20 Ultimate Frisbee team and will compete at the World Championships in Spain in July 2026 — and he needs your help to get there.

Hi, my name is Gage. I’m an 18-year-old lifelong athlete from Kamloops, BC, and I am incredibly honoured to be selected to represent Canada at the U20 World Championships this July in Spain.

As the only BC athlete on the roster from outside the Lower Mainland, I’m incredibly proud to represent my hometown of Kamloops, the BC Interior, and all small communities across the province.

This is a huge personal achievement for me, but it also shows that athletes from smaller communities can reach this level — even though we often have more hurdles with fewer resources and less exposure to competitive training.

I’ve trained, competed, and travelled many many kms to get to where I am and I will continue to train relentlessly to represent us all in Spain. Being named to Team Canada is absolutely a dream come true.

This dream comes with a costly financial reality. Competing for Team Canada in Ultimate Frisbee is 100% self-funded. The total cost is estimated to be about $10,000, which includes:
