Help Send FRC Team 7429 To District Championship

About the Team:

Team 7429 Convergence is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit robotics team working in Chesterfield, Virginia. Every year our team gets registered with FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and in just six weeks our team is to design, program, and compete with robots. Team 7429 provides many high schoolers with a supportive and educational environment surrounded by professional engineers and FIRST Alumni. 

 

About FIRST Robotics Competition:

FIRST was created to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math while fostering well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. Each year, teams from around the world participate in FIRST, build a robot, and compete in a high-energy sports-like atmosphere. Students work year-round with professional mentors from fields including engineers, scientists, accountants, marketing professionals, and graphic designers. These mentors inspire the students and cultivate 21st Century skills. Many of our mentors are alumni of the FRC program who now work in the industry. You may even have one among your employees! These talented professionals are giving back to the program that shaped their careers. The experience students gain through this program is formidable and establishes a strong foundation for future careers in science and technology.
