Growing up in an immigrant family as the youngest of 4 kids, I never dreamed I’d have an opportunity to spend a year as a foreign exchange student.  I live in a small mountain town with limited opportunities, so when I was selected by our local Rotary club to spend my senior year of high school as an exchange student in Europe it seemed like a dream come true. While the Rotary award is very generous, my family still faces a large funding gap that could prevent me from having this amazing experience. I'm appealing directly to you for help in reaching my goal so I can take advantage of this incredible opportunity. Throughout the exchange, I hope to acquire a new language, immerse myself in a new culture, and promote better understanding between the U.S. and Europe, but without more resources, these goals seem out of reach.
