Help Send Ezra to Lacrosse Camp

Hello Everyone!
My son, Ezra, is hoping to attend his first sleep away camp this summer. He is terribly excited to play lacrosse for three weeks straight and equally nervous about being away from the family for that length of time. We are so excited about what this opportunity represents for him, the life skills and sporty skills that will hopefully both grow exponentially. Please help us get him there.
Here is an excerpt from one of his scholarship applications for camp:
I want to participate in this program because I love lacrosse and I want to get better at it. There is no lacrosse team on Vinalhaven, so the only way I can participate in this sport is to travel and do a sleep away camp like this one. I feel that if I go to opportunities like this it will better my future. If I go to this program it will help me have a very good lacrosse career and it will give me good opportunities, too. I want to play collegiate lacrosse like my aunts and uncles. This camp will help me get stronger and increase my stamina. I am also going to learn how to get along with other people and cooperate without my family around. These are skills I need to have as an adult.
I’m a little scared about going to this because I have never been to a camp for a long period of time. I’m also a little nervous about how good the other players will be compared to me. The thought of not having my family by my side at almost all times is also a little scary. This is okay though because I feel that if it is scary and I do it I will grow from it and I will be better than I was before. I hope I can grow from this experience as a person and be able to be more independent at a younger age.
