Hello :)
My name is Dianne Fonseca, a passionate Roundnet athlete from Ontario Canada, and I have an exciting opportunity on the horizon. I've been given the incredible chance to represent my country at the Spikeball World Championship in London, UK in September 2024! This is my second time competing and representing Canada in a world event, but as you might expect, participating in such a prestigious event comes with its fair share of expenses.
Roundnet, also known as Spikeball, has been a huge part of my life for the past 5 years. It's not just a game; it's a community, a lifestyle, and a sport that challenges me both physically and mentally. The chance to compete on the global stage is something I've been working towards for years, and I'm determined to make the most of this opportunity.
Unfortunately, the costs associated with traveling to London, covering accommodation, and other expenses are substantial. That's why I'm reaching out to you, my friends, family, and fellow Roundnet enthusiasts, for support.
Your generous contributions will go directly towards helping me in this journey. Every dollar counts and will be immensely appreciated. Not only will you be supporting me as an athlete, but you'll also be representing Canada alongside me as I compete against the best Roundnet players from around the world.
Here's how your donations can make a difference:
Travel Expenses: Flights, and transportation to and from the tournament venue.
Accommodation: Lodging for the duration of the championship.
Miscellaneous Expenses: Any unforeseen costs that may arise during the trip.

What happens to the remaining funds not being used?
If there are any remaining donations at the end of this event, all remaining proceeds will go to Women's Roundnet Canada. This will help the organization focus on growing opportunities for women and youth to play Roundnet locally, stay active, and feel welcomed into a community.
