My nephew, Davion Sutton Marquez, is a proud senior at Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has dedicated himself to academics and to the sport he loves—football. Through hard work, discipline, and determination, Davion has earned an incredible opportunity to continue both his education and his football career at Ottawa University in Arizona, beginning in July. We are extremely proud to share that Davion’s football coach has offered him a scholarship. With additional financial aid and student loans, he has already taken major steps toward funding his education. However, despite these efforts, Davion still needs help to cover the remaining costs for his first year of college.
Davion’s journey has not been easy. His father passed away when he was just three years old, and since then his mother has courageously raised him on her own while living on disability. She has done everything within her means to support him, instilling strong values, faith, and perseverance. Unfortunately, she does not have the financial resources to help cover the remaining college expenses.
Davion is a focused, respectful, and driven young man who wants to build a better future for himself and make his family proud. He understands that education and athletics can open doors, and he is determined to excel—not only for himself, but as a positive example to other young people who face challenges. We are asking for your support to help keep Davion’s dreams alive and give him the opportunity to attend college, continue playing football, and become the successful man he is working so hard to be. Every donation—no matter the amount—brings him one step closer to achieving his goals. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Your encouragement, prayers, and support truly mean everything to our family.
