We are the Colorado Rapids Youth 2012B MLS Next Soccer Team. We have been chosen from among the top soccer players in Colorado in our age group to play in the MLS Next league - a national league run by the USA's professional soccer league, Major League Soccer (MLS). The goal of the MLS Next league is to develop the next generation of American professional soccer players and U.S. National Team players.

This league requires us to repeatedly fly around the country to play the other teams in our division and league, with 100% of the travel expenses being borne by the families.

In December, we have the opportunity to play in the prestigious El Arbolito Cup in Austin, TX hosted by the local professional academy Austin FC. This tournament is only for MLS Next teams associated with professional MLS academies and will give our boys the opportunity to test themselves against some of the best players in the country.

However, adding this travel event onto our already jam-packed travel schedule is financially draining many of the families on the team. We are raising money to send the group to Austin and offset as much of the travel cost as possible for many families on the team. The funds will be used for airfare, hotel, and rental cars.
