Sponsor Caleb's dream to K1 World Championships
Donation protected
Caleb has been chosen by WAKO Australia to represent Australia at the 2022 Junior Kickboxing World Championships
run under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. The event is attended by 120 countries and over 2000
athletes.
Caleb’s passion began with a McDonald’s sports voucher at the age of seven. Thanks to this voucher, he joined Rhett
Junker at Fight Rite in Blacktown and achieved his junior black belt for kickboxing at the age of ten.
After moving to the Central Coast in 2018, Caleb joined Fight Factory Muay Thai, West Gosford, where he has been
training under Luke Draper's Fight Factory Muay Thai gym to achieve his dream……to one day fight in the Olympics for Australia.
Due to COVID-19, Caleb’s only been able to start his fighting career this year in March with already scoring 3-0, winning
two WAKO NSW fights and one TKO in a Muay Thai Fight night in May.
This exciting event will be held in Jesolo Venice, Italy from 25th September to 9th October 2022. In preparation for the
event Caleb (with Luke as his trainer) has to complete a training camp in Sappada, Italy.
Caleb is fundraising to be able to afford for him and Luke to go to the World Championships in Italy and compete in the
U 15-17 year old category event. Their aim is to raise the $11,300 required for the championship costs, flights,
accommodation, meals, transport, and tracksuits.
This 15-year-old fighter has the talent, drive, and commitment to be a true champion and can only go from strength to
strength. And if he wins the championship he will have his chance at the Olympics fighting for Australia.
Your contribution will make a massive difference to this young man’s dreams :)
