Against all odds, Rodolfo, Mark & Kenneth have gone from being at-risk youth to youth educators - turning their lives around and slowly lifting themselves and their families out of the horrific poverty that traps millions of Filipinos in slums around the nation's capital, Metro Manila.
Today, these amazing young men are hard at work using the art of Capoeira and other impactful activities to help hundreds of other underprivileged kids have a better chance at being successful in life.
Help BANTU send Rodolfo, Mark & Kenneth to the 13th International Capoeira Angola Youth Encounter happening in Sydney, Australia where, aside from being special guests at the event, they'll also have the awesome opportunity to complete a leadership training program with some of the foremost experts in the field! They'll return to the Philippines empowered with more knowledge, skills and insights that will make them more effective agents of change in the fight against poverty.
All funds raised will go toward paying costs for their trip - airfare, visas, accommodations and more. Excess funds will go to BANTU's Leadership Academy (BLAC) Program which aims to empower the next generation of Youth Educators and prepare them for the workplace.
