All 4 Aspetuck Cheer teams have qualified to compete at the National Championship in Lakeland, Florida December 10th and 11th!!
For the first time in the history of the Aspetuck Cheerleading program all 4 Divisions (D8, D10, D12 & D14) qualified for the National Championship! These girls and coaches have worked hard since August and their dedication has paid off!
Now all 82 cheerleaders, their coaches, and a parent will be travelling to Florida to compete and represent Redding, Easton & Weston. While this is a big honor, it is also a big expense. We are creating this page to help our Cheer families offset the cost of travel to the National Championship in Florida.
As you know traveling can be expensive in the easiest of circumstances. For many of our families this is a large financial stress at a particularly expensive time of year. Many families have used money set aside for the holidays to make this a reality for their daughter.
Despite this burden, our families are so committed to their cheerleaders that all 82 families have made plane and hotel reservations already!
For this reason, we are asking that you donate anything you can to help our Cheer families as soon as possible. The National Championship is in 2 weeks!
The money raised on this website will be divided evenly among each cheerleader attending Nationals. If a family chooses to opt out of receiving its share, the money will be evenly distributed among the other Cheer families.
Please consider donating by December 5, 2016. Our high goal reflects our attempt to provide assistance for the cost of one plane ticket to Florida- approximately $250-$300.
These teams are made up of very special girls and young women who have worked tirelessly to achieve this impressive goal. They worked through grueling August heat and for many hours of weekly practices, all while balancing schoolwork and other obligations. These Aspetuck ladies are the best that Redding and Easton have to offer.
