Help Send Aliha to Ecuador for Mission Trip

Hi family!

Thank you for your generosity. I was overwhelmed by the love and support for this mission trip. The goal was reached in just a week and a half of sending the letters and 2 days after creating the GoFundMe page. There was even a surplus of funds. With that money, I gave it to my friend’s sister who is also a member at the church and she is now able to go on the trip too!

Hi family!

I am thankful that you are here and taking time out of your day to hear about the next step in my journey. I have decided to join my church family at Expression 58 and serve Quito, Ecuador this July in the capacity of street evangelism. While there, we will partner with:

Juvenile prisons for boys and girls

Those experiencing prostitution

The Trans community

Children and the elderly

Hospitals

I am asking my friends and family to support me in giving my time and gifts to this community. I am passionate about serving the unhoused. Many of you know I have a parent currently experiencing homelessness. I found this out at 18 when we reconciled. For this reason, it’s extremely important to me to serve this group of people in ways that I feel called. As I progress in my career, I want to give more and more. As a Los Angeles resident, I believe this trip will help prepare me for continuing and expanding my work in the Skid Row area.

The remaining cost of the trip is $2,400. To give an idea of what that may look like, if 80 of my friends and family members give $30, then the goal is reachable.

The first payment of $1,100 is due April 9th with a one-week grace period extending it to April 16th (which will be used to book the flight), and the second payment of $1,300 is due June 1st (attributed to food, ground transportation, room and board, travel insurance, and other incidentals).

Please know that any contribution to this incredible opportunity is more than enough! Even if you cannot or choose not to give monetarily, I would appreciate your prayers and support in other ways. Quite honestly, this is out of my comfort zone, and I will not be able to do it alone. Thank you in advance. I appreciate and love you!
