Help send kids impacted by floods to Camp Reset

Huge devastation and long term impacts are occurring as a result of the recent floods along the east coast of Australia. Growing up around these areas, I feel called to support through offering services. The communities impacted are in crisis, many loosing almost everything (homes, businesses, education).
When such events happen, may we each compassionately help in a way that we can. When we help & come together in moments of suffering, we helping in the healing, where individuals don’t feel alone in their pain.
As specialist OT’s supporting children presenting with trauma we want to show our support to families impacted through way of health service. Our way of aiding healing from trauma is through Camp Reset.
Camp Reset: QLD will run April 3rd - 7th, departing from Tweed Heads. Camp Reset is a trauma-responsive camp that takes kids off-grid to get back on track. Healing & connecting opportunities will be weaved into movement, storytelling, games, group challenges, nature exploration and cooking.
This camp runs along the east coast of Australia four times annually. This year we wanted to make a conscious effort to support children (and their families) who the recent floods have impacted. We are calling on individuals, businesses and communities to help us raise money fund the runnings of the camp, so that children who currently are without a home can attend. All funding will be used for the Camp and trauma-responsive therapy for families.
This opportunity is a place where children can share moments of joy & processing whilst their families continue with the crisis battle of cleaning & rebuilding. The experiences & tools learnt on Camp Reset can be taken with each child for now & into the future.
