Today, our hearts are deeply saddened for our family member, Senahid. He is the kind of man whose laughter filled a room before he even stepped inside. At 39 years old, he had built a life woven tightly with the threads of love, hard work, and devotion. His three boys—Darmin, Alen, and Daris—are the center of his universe. His wife, Amela, stayed home, pouring her heart into raising their children, their home a place of warmth, noisy with life and echoing with the sounds of childhood.

Then came the diagnosis—a rare, aggressive, life-threatening cancer of the parotid and salivary gland. The kind that didn’t come with easy answers or clear paths. The doctors in Croatia exhausted all treatment options: rounds of chemotherapy, clinical trials, treatments that promised slivers of hope but delivered more exhaustion than results. Senahid fought with everything he had—because that’s who he is, a fighter… a father. A man unwilling to accept that his story could end this way. But now, six months in, the doctors in Croatia had nothing left to offer.
