My name is Jade and I am raising money for one of my best friends, Semaj.

Semaj is a very talented freelance photographer and personal trainer on Oahu. He is dedicated at his craft and loves what he does. For the past few months, he has been working hard to save money to take trip back home to see his family in Chicago.

On his way to Chicago, Tuesday September 6th 2022, he stopped in San Francisco for a layover to visit Sequoia National Park. Before returning to the airport to board his final flight, he stopped at a gas station to get a quick bite to eat. When he returned to his rental car, the back windshield was shattered, and his backpack carrying all his professional camera equipment and MacBook laptop was stolen.

Without his camera and his tools, Semaj is unable to work.

This trip that Semaj has worked so hard to have, has become very stressful as Semaj tries to figure out what he will do next.

Items that were stolen:

All funds will go to helping Semaj replace the stolen items so he can continue to work.

He had to leave immediately to make his flight to Chicago and is waiting on information on the police report submitted by the rental car company.
