Life-Saving SCI Care & Medical Relocation Fund
Thank you so much for standing with me.
Because of your support, I have reached a critical turning point. After facing repeated failures in local care for my complex C4 spinal cord injury condition, I am taking decisive action to seek higher-level specialized care in Chicago through the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab medical network — the No. 1 ranked rehabilitation hospital in the United States.
This is no longer just about one appointment. This is about creating a real path to survival, stability, and independence.
As a C4 quadriplegic father, I require specialized spinal cord injury care that understands neurogenic bowel dysfunction, bladder complications, autonomic dysreflexia risk, mobility equipment needs, skin protection, daily care planning, and long-term rehabilitation. My current situation has shown that I need a higher level of medical coordination than what I have been receiving locally.
That is why I am establishing this Life-Saving SCI Care & Medical Relocation Fund.
This fund will help provide the financial stability needed to execute a serious care plan, including:
Specialized SCI Medical Access
Funding for urgent evaluations, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, neurogenic bowel and bladder management, physician consultations, therapy planning, and advanced rehabilitation options designed for medically complex quadriplegic patients.
Accessible Chicago Housing
Securing safe, accessible housing near the medical district so I can receive care without being trapped by transportation barriers. This also helps create a stable environment for my nine-year-old daughter while I pursue treatment.
Mobility, Equipment & Transportation
Supporting the equipment and transportation required for independence, including wheelchair-related needs, proper seating and positioning, tilt/elevation support, pressure relief, medical transport, and access to a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or accessible ride services.
Family Security & Education Support
Creating a safety net for my daughter’s care, tutoring, transportation, meals, and daily needs during this transition. She deserves stability while I fight to get the medical care that keeps me alive and present for her.
I am a father, an artist, an advocate, and a fighter. I am not asking for luxury — I am asking for the resources to reach the level of care my condition requires.
Every contribution helps build a wall of protection around my health, my daughter, and our future.
Thank you for helping me stay alive, regain stability, and keep fighting for the life God still has for me.
