Hi, my name is Selina. I'm a 26-year-old woman who lives alone with 2 cats, struggling to find work. I'm currently still looking for work, but I have not had much luck finding work other than a few interviews that go nowhere and unreturned calls. I also have been struggling with getting back on my SNAP benefits particularly food stamps do food has been harder to afford and access.

I have decided I finally wanted to get into bartending classes. The tuition is 650, that includes the cost of textbooks. I'm relying on the help of my friends and family to get me on track with my financial struggles and get into bartending, something I’ve been interested in for a while but haven’t pursued yet. Thanks to your generous donations I had been able to pay off the 250 dollars of debt I accumulated from overdraft fees, my owed payments for phone, electric, and internet bills, and necessities like food and soap. I’m in a way better spot than I was before. And I can’t rely in donations forever so this opportunity to go to bartending school after thinking about it for couple years is something that could open more doors to employment. I wanted to start classes by July 7th as I discussed with my instructor for morning classes. The course is 30 hours and they even help with employment opportunities. If I can’t start right away cause I can’t afford it at the moment there is also later classes I can enroll for. If you can help me pay for my classes, transportation, or simply keep me afloat until I start and finish my classes, it would help my situation a lot.
