Hello World!
My name is Alex Guardado and I am Selena Guardado's Dog Father. I am creating this Go Fund Me to help me fund Selena's Kidney Hospital Stay. She is currently really sick and is being treated at the Access Pet Hospital in Woodland Hills. My family and I started noticing two days ago that Selena was vomiting throughout the day. At first we did not think it was a big problem because we have had our fair share of dealing with random throw up episodes, but as the day progressed, we noticed that our pup was slowly losing her energetic self. By the end of the day she seemed tired and not as responsive as usual. We decided maybe she would feel better in the morning and let her sleep through the night. The next day came and sadly Selena was still not being herself. She barely moved throughout the day and did not want to eat or drink anything. By the end of the day, we got concerned and tried to take her to the pet hospital. With no luck, we brought her back home and looked up some home remedies to get her through the night. This morning (day 3) she woke up the same, unable to move and looking very ill. We were able to get a last minute appointment at our local vet to get her checked out. We took her in and the vet ran some blood tests. They concluded that her kidney and red blood cell count levels were really high and told us she needed immediate attention from a pet hospital that can watch her overnight. Without any hesitation, I picked her up and transferred her to the hospital she is currently at now. Once there, the doctor explained that Selena needs to stay a couple of days to get treated, and be monitored to make sure her kidneys are functioning properly. If not, she runs the risk of kidney failure. My answer to all this was "just save my princess". She is now there, alone, getting the treatment she needs. Before being admitted, the staff let me know in order to proceed with her treatment plan, I would need to pay $4200. There is not a price in the world I would not pay to save my dogs. I love them to death and I cannot imagine a world without them. Alone I cannot do that right now. That is why I am sharing my story today in hopes that there are people out there willing to help me out with my Selena. I would appreciate any contribution to this fund and I will continue to post updates in the next days about her wellbeing. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and god bless you all.
