For the last 6 years, my sister Selena has been in a volatile abusive relationship including verbal and physical abuse. She has been a victim for the last 6 years, giving up her freedom and humanity. She had everything taken from her. She was unable to speak to friends, family, do basic things like go in public alone or even work. Because of my sister's abuser, she is left without money or a place to live. She has 6 beautiful, smart, loving children under the age of 7 who deserve everything, but have nothing. 

It has been a dark road and I never thought that the day would come that my sister would finally escape her abuser with all of her children, but she finally has. This is no easy feat and my sister is starting from scratch. My family and I are helping them to the best of our abilities, but even our best is not enough. Any support for my sister and nieces & nephews will mean the world and will not go unnoticed.
