I know the needs in our community are great this year but this one is also close to a lot of us. Selena is a Circles graduate and she used to work in the front office at BSUMC while she built her housekeeping business. She has also worked in the nursery rocking babies and spreading  joy to our church family on Sunday mornings. She is super involved at BSUMC and volunteers with the crisis ministry at church. 

Well, Selena has a lot of elderly clients so she hasn’t been able to clean as much this year due to Covid. She found out last week that she has to have shoulder surgery on January 12 and Dr Kissenberth says she may not be able to work for 6 months. Needless to say she is panicking about what to do about bills and providing for her children. She is so sad and discouraged because she has worked so hard. 


We want to make sure Selena has enough money to cover her bills for 6 months and to know that we see her and love her. If you would like to help in this effort, feel free to donate here.

Selena’s other need is after-school transportation for her children from Fisher to an older sister’s home at Jamestown apartments. They are special permission and Jamestown is not their permanent address so they cannot ride the bus. Please pray specifically that we find a solution to this challenge.
