Hello! My name is Kim and I am a good friend of Selena’s for those who don’t know me. Selena is one of the most selfless, positive and utterly strongest people I know. I know she has played many of her health issues pretty close to the chest and many people are unaware of the struggles she has been through these past couple of years. I have had a front row seat to witness her strength throughout this journey. I won’t go into too much detail here but when she was first diagnosed with uterine cancer it took the doctors 6 months of hospitalizations and blood transfusions to get her stable enough for surgery. Since then she has had many complications with her pancreas. She has been hospitalized for a cumulative of many months and has endured 10 surgeries in 19 months.

I have watched Selena max out every credit card she owns and use every paycheck to try to pay her medical bills. The amounts are astronomical. She was recently served with paperwork from the court for the hospital to put liens on her house. I have watched her silently struggle and try everything she can think of to pay these bills
