Selena is a mother, sister, daughter, TT, friend, artist, and inspiration. She leaves her mark wherever she wanders and I guarantee has connected and touched each person she interacts with. 
Throughout the last couple of years she has seen her life go in many different directions, some positive and definitely some negative. On the evening of February 27th she was shockingly diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer. Life as she knew it had changed within an instant. She had extensive surgery on March 1st in hopes of removing as much of the cancer along with a full hysterectomy. She kept her spirits high through those long hospital days making us laugh, sometimes cry, but definitely proved she is a fighter. She was a bright light in that hospital wing with many doctors, nurses, and special musical guests all stopping in to provide encouragement and hope. She began her chemo journey on April 1st and has 6 rounds to conquer. 
Each minute, day, and week brings new frustrations. She has good days and bad however, she faces each day with bravery and optimism.
Through the following weeks, Selena and her family came to grasp the financial burden this battle possesses. Selena is an artist by trade using her hands as her tools.
This journey has unfortunately left her without the ability to maintain a work schedule, which has added strain on daily life and medical expenses. She is not one to ask for a hand out or assistance but rather Selena is the most giving and selfless person we know. This is our time to come together to support, build positive energy, manifest joy, and lend a helping hand. Selena continues to feel immensely loved, encouraged, and energized by every person whom has reached out, sent a loving message, or just put a positive thought into the universe. You are appreciated and we thank you. “Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.”
