I am Sumit and I live in the States. My cousin, Seema Sharma, is still in India and has been struggling for 3 years with cancer. She was originally diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Her cancer has metastasized to her collar-bone, leaving her with a large growth on her shoulder-chest area. Unfortunately, more chemotherapy is not an option, however, there is a medication she can take to slow the growth (Palbace) and give her a few more good years with her husband and 7-year old child. This medication costs 10 lacs (or about $2000) per bottle. Seema and her husband have managed these last 3 years without financial assistance, but have completely depleted their resources.
