Hi, I’m Marc, founder of the Little Venice Film Festival (LVFF).
For years, LVFF has been about one thing: making film accessible to everyone.
We are an international film festival and Community Interest Company that supports independent filmmakers while championing inclusivity - giving a platform to female, LGBTQ+, and Global Majority creators, and ensuring cinema is accessible for disabled, deaf, and neurodivergent audiences.
This isn’t just a festival - it’s a community.
Why we need your help
As we approach our 2026 festival, we’ve been hit with an unexpected challenge.
At a crucial stage, we’ve lost key sponsors. Despite months of planning and with filmmakers already confirmed and travelling to attend - we are now facing a significant funding gap.
What your support will do
We are aiming to raise £20,000 to secure the future of this year’s festival and beyond. Your support will help us:
- Cover essential delivery costs, including venue, staffing, and production
- Deliver accessible screenings across the programme, including subtitles on all films
- Present a fully accessible screening with sign language, audio description, and subtitles
- Continue our mission of making cinema inclusive and accessible for all
Every contribution directly supports our work - as a Community Interest Company, all funds go straight back into the festival and its mission.
Why this matters
Over the years, LVFF has:
- Created opportunities for filmmakers who are often excluded
- Built a space where audiences feel represented and included
- Delivered meaningful, accessible cultural experiences
- Features screenings with sign language, audio description, and subtitles across all films—making accessibility a core part of the festival
- We programme dedicated strands including Disability Experience, Mental Health, LGBTQ+ stories, Girls in Film, and Female Perspectives on Screen—ensuring underrepresented voices are seen, heard, and celebrated.
We’ve even been recognised by Time Out as one of the best things to do in London and featured in Deadline, Screen Daily, Monocle and other publications.
But right now, we need your help to continue.
How you can help - Donate & Share
Every donation brings us closer to securing the future of the festival, and your support truly matters.
By sharing this campaign, you can help us reach the people who will make this possible and stand with us in protecting inclusive, independent cinema.
We’ve built something special over the years - a space where everyone belongs, both on screen and in the audience - and right now, we’re at a critical moment.
With your support, we can continue telling stories that matter, supporting voices that deserve to be heard, and making film accessible to all.
Thank you for helping us keep this festival alive.
Marc
