Hi friends,
Many of you helped us raise funds to get a local unhoused woman on her feet. While that was accomplished, the dog needs our help now. He has been our priority.
Humans have failed him time and time again. It is time for that to stop and keep him well cared for and safe for the balance of his days.
He was removed from her care due to her addiction-related behavior. We have kept him in foster care for over 8 months in hopes that she would turn things around. She has not. We have provided food, medical care, all supplies, and multiple rounds of training.
We have found permanent sanctuary for him, which is a MIRACLE. He is a pup who needs a special adoptive household (no cats or small dogs) that can keep up with his training routine, and it is a hard time in Austin to find that. Sanctuary will keep him safe for the rest of his years.

We are using the last $900 from previous fundraisers to pay for the shed, plywood, and doggie door. We need the funds to build out the balance. The Sanctuary is willing to build out components as we raise the funds.
