Help Us Secure Safe Housing for Our Family

Our baby was born in November and was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome and congenital heart defects. Since then, we have been in and out of hospital for monitoring, treatment, and ongoing specialist care. It has been an incredibly emotional and exhausting journey, but our focus has always been on keeping our baby safe and stable.

We are now facing homelessness after being served a no-fault Section 21 eviction notice. With the upcoming changes to legislation not taking effect until May 2026, we currently have very little protection and must leave our home through no fault of our own.

The timing could not be more frightening. Our baby has ongoing medical needs and requires a clean, stable, and warm environment to recover and grow. Frequent hospital visits are already part of our daily life — not knowing where we will live next adds immense stress and risk.

Securing stable accommodation will allow us to focus fully on our baby’s health without the constant fear of having nowhere to go.
