I am reaching out because two large trees are leaning dangerously toward my house and my neighbor's home. It is a terrifying risk for our safety and for the stability of our community. As a member of this neighborhood and someone who cares deeply about veterans, I want to make sure we handle this situation with care while also supporting those who served our country.

That is why I am fundraising with the 5th Squad. The 5th Squad is a Mississippi-based nonprofit dedicated to caring for and empowering American and Allied veterans and their families through immediate financial support, case management, advocacy, and community outreach. By partnering with them, I know my effort will not only protect our homes but also contribute to a larger mission of providing life-sustaining help and gratitude to veterans in need.

Removing or stabilizing these trees will take professional work, and every contribution will help ensure our houses are safe and our neighbors are protected. At the same time, donations channeled through the 5th Squad will support veterans facing urgent challenges—helping with basic needs, connecting them to services, and honoring their service through real, practical assistance.

Please donate to our fundraiser to protect our homes and stand with veterans. Your gift will make a tangible difference to our neighborhood and to the lives of those who have served. Thank you for your support.
