My name is Joseph Barnes and my wife Erin Reese is competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

A and all funds generated from donations will go directly to helping me pay for travel expenses, such as flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. the donations will also help for entry fees and other membership fees for competing at meets as well as housing for my coach at the Olympics in Paris !

***Update****Hello everyone! Thank you soo much for helping me with getting to Canada and all the crazy last minute expenses! Thanks to everyone’s help, I was able to achieve a seasons best and win the Canada meet which boosted my world rank into the qualified rankings quota!! So off to Paris we go!! However, due how expensive it was to spend the week training in Oregon plus the trip to Canada, assistance is still needed to get to the Olympics!! Any donations will go to travel expenses (flights, trains, rental cars,etc) training expenses, housing, medical, food etc. I also need my coach in Paris with me and unfortunately they do not provide funding for him to attend so I need assistance sending him! He deserves this just as much as I do. Thank you all in advance and every donation has made a huge impact!

6/27- This is another step in my “Road to Paris!” As many of you know, I took 3rd at the Olympic Trials but I do not have the qualifying standard to immediately go to the Olympics. I have to be in the top 32 for my world rank and I am currently 29th. We are pursuing a meet in Canada to boost my world rank more and secure my spot! However, with this unexpected turn of events, funds are getting very tight and the expenses continue to grow. Your support now would be appreciated now more than ever as we embark on this last stretch to Paris! Thank you to anyone who donates, shares, spreads the word in advance!
